070600 + urban legend + This evening, on the news, I heard the following story:
Early this morning, residents of the Back Bay (an fairly affulent area of Boston) awoke to find notices on their cars- warning them of a species of 'Flesh Eating Cockroach' that was infesting the area. Mild pandemonium ensued.
Of course, it was quickly discovered that no such cockroach exists. But it made the 'teaser' story on the 5'Oclock news!!
Supposably a similar prank happened in Chicago... if anyone has more infomation on this story, PLEASE contact me!
